What I did was I used was the type tool after that I made copes . I changed both one having green dotes and one green but I lower the opacity down. For the back ground I used the rectangle tool and made made the fill in black.

What I did to get this gold text effect is I used the tip tool to write my name. Then I made copes and change some colors and after that I went to pathfinder. After that I changed the colors again then after I did that I made the back grown to A light yellow.
